7 DAYS TO DIE Gamer Review

7 Days to Die is a zombie survival game. Think Mine Craft mixed in with Left for Dead.

In 7 Days to Die you want to build the ultimate fortress to be able to survive the immense horrors of night. Everything from zombies, to zombie dogs, to giant bumble bees will attack and try to kill you….. why is there giant bees? Hell if I know.

The game is still being worked on so its a bit buggy. But I would say this game is definitely a must buy.

It is very easy to find loot in 7 days to die. You can loot cars,  book bags, trash, and even zombies. The bigger the zombie seems to be, the better loot. There are a lot of different kinds of guns to try on the zombies; to see which ones better fit you. My personal favorite is a sawed off shotgun, because I believe a headless zombie is a happy zombie.

7 Days to Die map is made up in 6-8 sections. Each section of the map benefits a certain material. One section is great to get sand from, while another is good to get stone from. Now don’t think you will just start the game and build the house of your dreams. When you spawn in certain parts of the map, it will be “toxic” and  that will kill you if you breathe it in too long. Those parts of the maps I believe you have to unlock by surviving.

7 Days to Die is still a bit buggy but it’s another one of my favorites. It’s the type of game where you start at 8:00 p.m. and think I’ll get off at 10:00 p.m. not already knowing its 6 in the morning.

The game is addictive and there is plenty to do. I say this game is a must buy for zombie fans. I rate this game a 8.5 out of 10

ROCKSMITH 2014 Gamer Review

So let's talk about Rocksmith 2014...
It has helped me tremendously with guitar. I have  been playing for 6 years, and with just playing Rocksmith 2014 for a week I am already seeing improvement in my skill.

Rocksmith 2014 is formulated to help with rhythm guitar, lead guitar and Bass. So whatever type of guitarist you are this is the game to get. If you want to learn guitar this is a game you would also want to start out with.

Rocksmith is like Rockband or Guitar Hero except your using a real guitar. You start off small with simple notes then as you get better the game progresses and it gets harder.  They also have training videos to prepare you for the song.
One thing Rocksmith offers is a 60 day challenge. They guarantee that if you play rocksmith for a couple hours for 60 days straight you will become a decent guitarist. Since I have been playing I am starting to realize the challenge actually works. I am a huge fan of music and I gotta tell you this game is worth every penny.

Here's some more about it that's pretty interesting.

Lets say you wanna play guitar but you don’t wanna listen to music. Rocksmith 2014 also has arcade games that still teach you how to play guitar. The other day I was playing a arcade game that was similar to street fighter, you have two characters that move to a certain area on the road….the road is cut into boxes that looks like guitar frets….when your character moves a bad guy will show up on the screen and you have to hit the fret on your guitar that the bad guy is on to attack him. If you take too long he will attack you. There is another arcade game where you have to press the correct note to get your character to jump from platform to platform….take too long and the ground disappears.

Rocksmith 2014 is one of my everyday games…I love it and have no issues with it what so ever.
I used to have a guitar tutor and I got tired of paying him monthly to teach me the same damn thing every day. Rocksmith 2014 is a pay $60 once and that game can teach you more than a tutor could in my opinion.

I give Rocksmith a 9 out of 10. Just remember that if you can still hear your parents or spouse yelling at you to turn it down, you're not playing loud enough.
