STATE OF DECAY Gamer Review

All I have to say about this game if OMG! This game blows any other zombie game out the water. I’ve tried millions of zombie games hoping to find the right one and this game is the perfect. In this game you play as multiple characters and it’s your job to make sure everyone in your group is happy, well fed, has medical help, a place to sleep and so on. There are special zombies that you need to watch out for. But don’t be afraid. You’re just as bad ass as they are.

The game is only single player. But the way the game is built I am sure a multiplayer is soon to come. The map is open world and you can enter any building on the entire map. In this game you and a friend just got back from vacation. As soon as you get off the boat and onto land zombies attack. The first half of the game is about figuring out what’s going on. Then after you get an idea of what’s going on you get set up in a church with a group of people, and your friend ends up getting injured causing you have to find medicine. Once you get the medicine you "earn your place in the group" meaning you’re in charge of taking care of this said “group”

As you look around the big open world you can use the supplies you find to make extra buildings such as bedrooms/watch towers/medicine areas and so on. You can also upgrade the buildings as well. One thing you’ll notice is clearing out hordes of zombies or special zombies raises the moral of your people. You will also find survivors to take in as you travel around the map. (I suggest that you don’t take in every survivor as your base may not have enough supplies to cover them all).

Special zombies are well special.....They have everything from a big fat one charging over you to a screaming zombie that alerts every  other zombie around you...And yes if you see a herd of zombies run like hell or stay hidden...they will kill you. Last but not least there is a zombie that will tackle you and attack you until your low on health then grab you and rip your body in half...

State of Decay is the best zombie game I have played so far and I give it a 9/10.

Pro's

  • Open world
  • bad ass ways to kill zombies
  • easy controls
  • addictive
  • there’s zombies....

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Gamer Review Part 1

A Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

The Legend of Zelda series is a passion of mine, so naturally when A Link Between Worlds was announced I was excited. I was really worried about spoilers so I tried not to read too much, but of course I couldn’t resist. I was really anxious and worried. This was going to be a sequel to one of my favorite games of all times, and they were making a lot of changes.

The first thing I saw when I heard about the games was the “painting” aspect of the game, it looked really neat, but I wasn't sure how they were going to incorporate it into the game. I looked forward to seeing more trailers.

Shortly after that I read about the new item system. Instead of finding the items you needed in each dungeon and being linear, the game would be nonlinear and you could rent your special weapons from Ravio the traveling salesman. I wasn't sure I was happy about this part either. It totally went against the dynamic I was used to in every game, and trust me I've played them all.

There is a new bad guy Yuga and he reminded me of a cross between Ganondorf and Ghirahim or maybe even one of the Gerudo. So new bad guys, new friends and NPCS and brand new amazing graphics. I was excited and waiting with anticipation.

The day they game released I picked up the 3DS XL bundle, a copy of the game, and the guide as well. All were beautifully packaged and had that new game, system and book smell.

Home to play the game…

I’m not that far into it now due to that whole being responsible, gotta pay bills and keep the house running thing.

But I have to tell you so far it’s AMAZING!! The graphics are beautiful, the music is enhanced and lovely. I've explored the world a little bit, got to meet Yuga and some of the new NPCS, play a couple of the mini games. I’m totally hooked.

Let’s go over the reservations I had with the game. The whole buying of items, isn't’t as bad as I thought it would be truthfully. The prices on renting the items aren't so high that you can’t easily cover them, and the character who sells them is actually pretty likable though seemingly a coward and leaving the battling to “real heroes”. I think he’s pretty adorable with his cute purple rabbit head. Also because of him you survive your first real battle with Yuga after he turns you into wall art. You pop back up to normal because of that little gift he gives you. It astounds him as well trust me.

Now let’s go over becoming a painting and moving, holy cow it’s interesting and fun. I’m still getting the hang of it but so far it’s unique and interesting and makes the game much more intricate than any of the other games in the past. I can see why it’s gotten such hype and praise.

The nonlinear function so far is also kind of nice, it allows for more exploration and the ability of doing things in whatever order you feel comfortable with, it also allows for a unique experience and the ability to do different things each time you play.

One thing I didn't read about that I've experienced since starting to play is the save function, there’s weather vanes now to save at that also serve as drop of points by our friendly neighborhood travel companion Irene the witch in training. She’s adorable and super helpful.

That’s all for now!! I have more playing to do. This is just part one of more to come.

THE SIMPSONS TAPPED OUT FOR ANDROID & IOS Gamer Review

If your anything like me then you like games where you can create your own town and for some weird reason, you have to make sure your town is the best. The Simpsons tapped out for Androids and just about any type of phone is one of my favorite games. At first i thought, o well its a Simpsons game it will be funny for a week then ill be bored. To my surprise i was wrong. The Simpsons tapped out has kept me checking it every day for the past 7 month (maybe more). My experience with this game has been very fun and very weird at the same time.

As i had said, the Simpsons tapped out is a game where you build your own town. The reason you have to build the town is because homer was playing farmville on his phone at work and yet still managed to blow up Springfield. You start out with only Lisa and homer which is funny in a weird way. Lisa wants to "clean up the mess and rebuild Springfield" while homer wants to just sleep.
Also there are Simpsons clips that will make you have to pee from laughing so hard after every clip.

The Simpsons tapped out also caught my attention when I found out that they do special things per holiday. And not just for real life holidays but for the Simpsons holidays as well. Remember that famous episode when homer and everyone in Springfield celebrated a day of whacking snakes upside the head? Well that day had came and as a player it was your job to whack snakes yourself but also send everyone else to whack the snakes. More snakes you whacked the more gifts and surprises you got. Recently that have started something new that i thought was awesome. For Halloween they brought back Flanders wife Maude as a ghost to haunt and terrify Springfield. Well she brought plenty more ghosts with her and it was your job to collect "GOO" to earn surprises but this time not only did you earn surprises for yourself but as a community you could when prizes for how ever many "GOO" you as a community could get.

The Simpsons tapped out also has a lot of show references that makes you go "O I REMEMBER THAT." The building you build and the people you fine are all from original episodes. Now I realize that since Matt Groening stopped making the Simpsons that the Simpsons I sent really that funny anymore. But in a weird way the characters in the game act more like there original selves from the AMAZING ERA OF MATT GROENING. You can also add friends neighborhoods to help you with special events. Remember the more neighbors you have the better.

usually i would do pro's and con's at the end of a article but i have no con's for this game. If you would like to try the game out and need a neighbor send a comment below and I'll respond and add you as a neighbor as soon as possible. Thank you for reading and don't eat all the damn donuts!

SPLINTER CELL BLACK LIST Gamer Review

Oh the joys of killing someone in the dark, brings back so many memories. Well splinter Cell Black List has plenty of that and I can say for sure that it is a game worth paying for. In this game you are a secret agent trying to take down either bad people, or bad government agency's. How you do it is completely up to you. Splinter Cell Blacklist has a fantastic story and no matter how many times I've played it, it always kept me at the edge of my seat.

In a way you can say Splinter Cell is like a modern Assassins creed. Hide in dark to drop on enemies and stab them, or just silently shoot them with mere stealth. If you don't like the whole "sneak in sneak out deal" then feel free to just walk in and tell everyone your guns says hi. In other terms you can compare it to Batman Arkham Asylum. I say this because of the gadgets you have. For instance like heat signature, mines, a remote controlled robot that shoots darts at people. Because of all these gadgets, there is plenty of ways to get through a mission. All missions can be beat without killing anyone.

Multiplayer started out as a hit but later on just flat out sucked. Much like in Batman Arkham games you have the ability to see through walls. So this means a entire team can camp on any part of the map and see through a wall, then shoot you before you even turned the corner. They also made a huge mistake in the multiplayer for having gas grenades and poison grenades in it. Reason I say this, is because who ever is hit by a gas grenade is stunned and there's not much you can do when they run up and knife you. I also noticed that if you go head on to knife a player at a higher level then you, the player can reverse it and end up knifing you. As you can see why, I dropped multiplayer quick. Co-op on the other hand is extremely fun! But make sure you have a mic as communication is key. In co-op there is everything from survival to sneak in without being seen. Only bad thing is that you will still get that whiny kid from Call of Duty to join your game and randomly shoot everyone...

Single player upgrades are great. Throughout the game your base is in a secret military plane. This plane can be upgraded to help you in missions. You can upgrade rooms on the plane so your crew can find and make better upgrades for you. This game makes upgrades very important as they can help you in huge ways. They help you from seeing who is behind the wall to where is a secret file i need to find? This game is a favorite because I like that there is always a different ways to beat each mission. And I'm sure just like most people, the wide variety in a game is always good in a game. For this game I give it a 8 out of 10.

Pro's: • Great story
• Gadgets are awesome
 • Always more then one way to do a mission
 • It keeps you wanting to play more
 • Controls are easy
• Co-op can be awesome at times.

 Con's:
 • Multiplayer sucks
• Still get little kids on game

THE DEAD LINGER Gamer Review

The dead linger will deffintly catch the attenchin of zombie fans. The map is bigger then any other zombie game i have played, including DAY Z. The game is still in beta and there is much to be done. Multiplayer is barley working but Single player will make up for that...for now. My experience with the game has been enjoyable even with it in beta form.

The dead linger reminds me of day Z but i will not say its a rip off of day z. In dead linger you do not need to worrie about food or drink to survive. Its just you eat and you gain health. There is no starvation or dehydration. In the beta i have only found 3 fairly big towns and 3 cabins in the woods....No the goverment is not behind this zombie apocolypse....

I have done alot of research for this game and found something that made me very happy. There will be no "super or mutated zombies" Meaning if a zombie see's you, him and his friends will walk over to you like a zombie should. If you run into the house and close the doors him and his friends will bang on the door and take it down...Wooden doors they take down easily...Metal doors takes them a good while. Zombies will also climb over obsticles. For example if a window is busted for the reason the zombies are smart enough to climb threw it. And yes zombies will make you scream like a girl....i will admit that i did.

The guns in the game are fairly basic.THere is no diffrent brands just a sniper rifle or a pistol and machine gun. Just like any other zombie games, the zombies are attracted to sound so choose your shots wisley. Ammo is easy to find but its hard to find the ammo you need. There is no pvp in the game. A player can kill you but its pointless as you can not loot the player and take his stuff. On the bright side if you die, you will still respawn with all of your supplies.

Like i said the game is in beta form but still alot funner then most games *cough infestation cough.* The reason i wrote a reveiw about this game is because i am excited about the future for it. Another cool thing that i realized is that the developers for the game actually care what we the players have to say. Every complaint or idea as either been Built into the game or fixed. Now its in beta form so it is still buggy. My only question is....how will you help shape THE DEAD LINGER?

          P.S.
This is something new i would like to try out. In my experience for reading articles i have notice that alot of the writers opinions on pro's and con's could differ from my own. So i thought i would try a Pro's and Con's list so this way you as the reader can determen if this pro or con may or may not bother you.

Pro's
This game makes you think while having fun

The game is still in beta so alot of funny stuff still happends

You can cut down trees and use the wood to hammer them to doors or make your own fort

So far the people i have met on there are fairley nice and helpful.

If you jump off something high like a second story building you can hit control and wrole when you hit the ground so you dont take damage (do not attempt off a water tower)

There is a crap load of zombies so dont worrie you will get your share of the killing

The loot is everything from a blue painted rock to a machine gun

Cons

The doors are laggy

Multiplayer only semi works (zombies will see host but might not see other players)

Game is only fun with other players (my point of veiw)

BATTLE FIELD 4 Gamer Review

Welcome my fellow soldiers to Battlefield 4. I am very pleased about the overall outcome of this game. Usually when a game like Battlefield 3 comes out the next game usually sucks. Well battlefield 4 made the top ten list of one of my favorite games. The maps are extraordinary and the game play is phenomenal! I have spoken to a lot of battlefield 3 players and ask them what they thought.... Most of their responses were, "Quiet! I’m playing battlefield 4." I can’t say I blame them for saying stuff like that.

The maps are just amazing, plain and simple. Anything from an underground secret bunker to the roads being flooded. Every map has a change in it at some point throughout the match. These changes can either help you or destroy you. It also amazes me of how your team plays as a squad without actually being a squad. The game has made it to where team work is crucial. And for once it’s amazingly fun.

Now you won’t start out as a badass just yet. You will have to level up to receive new guns and gear. The cool part is you can make your upgrades to work around your gameplay style. How it works is kind of interesting too and works a lot like bad company 2 does. If you play as a recon and you level up, you will only get recon supplies. If you’re an assault, you will only get assault supplies. This way you can really work for what you really want and it’s not just some random reward that makes you go “What the hell?” This was another huge addictive part added to the game.

I would have talked about single player but battlefield for decided not to save the story, so all of my time on single player was deleted. But most games like Battlefield 4 is only known for their multiplayer, and trust me they have lived up to the fans expectations. Well except for one category... Recon sucks! It seems like any machine gun can shoot farther then a sniper rifle. I can see they did this so you don’t kill someone from half way across the map but isn’t that the point of a sniper rifle? My opinion is in this game, a sniper rifle is only good for slapping someone upside the head with it. Other than that I rate this game 8-10. “NOW GET OUT THERE SOLDIERS!”

This is something new I would like to try out. In my experience for reading articles i have notice that alot of the writers opinions on “Pro's and Con's” could differ from my own. So I thought I would try a Pro's and Con's list so this way you as the reader can determine if this pro or con may or may not bother you.

Pro's:
Game is extremely additive

You can now only hear squad mates on the mic, not some 12 year old boy on another team

The maps keep you changing your strategy 24/7

Knifing is fun
You can always get new dog tags you don’t have by knifing someone who has them on.

It makes you feel like a badass

Story seemed fun for the most part

Con's

Cars and helicopters are harder to fly as they are no longer press R2 to go and L2 to brake

Recon sucks

I have not seen a “hardcore mode” yet.

BATMAN ARKHAM ORIGINS GAMER REVIEW

Batman Arkham Asylum came out and blew our minds! Then Batman Arkham City came out with an incredible story and incredible game play. Now what did Arkham Origins do? The black mask as a main villain? No more joker? Will the game be any good? Those were the only thoughts going through my head. And yes the game is incredibly good but only for the story line.

Batman Arkham Origins is based before Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City. In this game Batman is starting out all brand new and defined. Which means his fighting kind of sucks. At the beginning of the game if you start in hand to hand combat, Batman in much slower and less powerful witch is kind of annoying when you just want to beat the crap out of someone. Also the game says "Meet batman’s villains and he allies for the first time." Well I’ve beat the game and about to beat it for the second time and yes I've met a lot of Villains but only one of the allies… And that is Commissioner Gorden.

There is still bountiful free roaming in the game, but it’s not so free as it used to be. Everything is cramped together and there are walls blocking you from other sections of the city. Only way to get passed the wall is to find the ONE tunnel leading to the other side. As far as "New" goes, well nothing is new besides fast travel and the fact that the Bat cave is actually useful in the game. And for new gadgets well there isn't really any at all. There the same effect as Arkham City, But built in a different way. Remember in Arkham city when you threw the bomb of ice and it let you float on water because god forbid Batman can swim? Well instead of ice its glue. That’s pretty much all that is new.

Most people say that a lot of games famous for single player shouldn't make multiplayer because it takes time away from single player. Well this time they are wrong. Batman Arkham Origins is simply amazing. It is in Beta right now and you will have connection issues but it’s a must try. The multiplayer game is 3V3V2. That means 3 of Jokers goons then 3 of Banes goons then Batman and Robin. Jokers and Banes goons is a lot like capture the flag. Your capture a base and whoever kills more of the other team wins. Batman and Robin win by the "Fear Radar." So just like in single player you use your gadgets and hide from above and take out goons except this time its multiplayer. When you get mid-way through the match you will see a mark that looks like a Clown face and depending on what team you’re on, Bane or The Joker will say get me from this door. At this time both teams rush to the door to get there hero out. Best part is whoever lets the hero out first gets to play as the hero. Bane can smash people to the ground and the joker can shoot on hit shots. THIS IS A MUST BE PLAYED MULTIPLAYER GAME!

Batman Arkham Origins has its up or down. If I told anyone to buy it i would say buy it for the story and the multiplayer and the fight against Deathstroke. As a huge batman fan I was pleased with the story. They defiantly went into Jokers pass and you could feel his emotions as he was talking about them. I would rate this game an 8 out of 10. If you played Batman Arkham City then this game is a must buy.

This is something new I would like to try out. In my experience for reading articles I have notice that a lot of the Writers opinions on Pro's and Con's could differ from my own. So I thought I would try a “Pro's and Con's list” so this way you as the reader can determine if this pro or con may or may not bother you.

Pro's:
Story is fantastic

Multiplayer is well worth the time

Investigation is more advanced and much more cooler

You can see how batman changes from stubborn to well batman

Jokers story was incredible. How he explained his feelings almost made me go insane along with him.

Fight against Deathstroke made you feel as a true batman.
Banes last fight made you hide and run like a little school girl

Cut scenes were a +A job, they made you realize how truly insane the Joker was

Cons:
Most of the city is blocked off by random walls that only have one way pass.

Killer Croc's fight kind of sucked

The game got boring on the second play threw.

The story wasn't really much of a free roam like Arkham city. It was a lot of you have no choice but to go this way.

Batman’s fighting was way to slow in the beginning

No new gadgets

Riddler was forced on you to solve his crap

New bad guys that where just flat out annoying

One of banes fights is flat out annoying and repetitive from Arkham asylum

Game was very repetitive from Arkham asylum and Arkham City

Assassins Creed IV Black Flag Gamer Review

Assassins Creed IV Black Flag is at last finally out.

We no longer need to wait for the epic, thought-out story line. My experience with the game has been quiet outstanding. The new free roam perspective as a pirate is one of the coolest things I believe I have ever seen in video game history. There were times when I thought back at Assassins Creed one and was amazed at how tremendously far this game has come. Assassins creed IV makes you want to explore and be a bad ass pirate and makes you want to prove to the Assassins Creed Community that you really are a bad ass pirate. But like most games it has it’s up and down. Luckily the downs are so mild that this game is almost tuned to perfection.

What’s funny is Assassins Creed IV came out a lot earlier then it was supposedly expected. I personally have not found a reason for why it came out so early but I truly believe it was a bad idea. I have noticed that the game is a bit buggy. The game freezes for a long time for a scene to start or when i try to jump off a fence but only jump in the air and land back on the fence.... It’s kind of amusing but somewhat irritating as to when you are being shot at. Oddly enough that is pretty much the only dislike I have encountered about the game. And I’m sure a quick patch could fix things write up right away.

The fact that you get to own your own ship in this game is amazing. The free roam is simply blissful as something always catches your attention in the scenery. It could be from a treasure chest on a small island, to a water spout coming up out your boat. There is always something to freak out about in the game, and yes there is always something to run like hell from. There are a lot of islands to explore and yes they kept the hunting! There is anything from turtles to cheetahs to Hammer head sharks.

Hunting for sea creatures is a lot of fun. As you are sailing across the sea in your gallant ship of awesomeness, you will find places in the sea that are all white. That means a creature you can hunt is available in that area. Once you begin the hunt you will be in a small boat with a spear. The spear has a rope tied to it as it is tied onto the boat. When you aim and hit the creature with the spear it will start swimming off dragging the boat with it. At this point you aim and throw the spears until you have killed it. Animals and creatures can be skinned and then used to craft new items like gun holders and armored padding.

Free roaming at sea is simply epic. The weather can change at any time and give you a challenge to get out alive. I have seen water spouts take down ships and a Lightning strike blow a ship to smithereens! Water spouts are the most dangerous thing to worry about as they will suck in your ship and do a lot of devastating damage. There awesome and fun until you realize that they are programmed to follow and come after you. Also the weather has no time limit. I have had storms last from a minute to ten minutes. I am truly amazed at what they have done with this series.

Much like assassins creed 3, there still are bunkers. You can use your ship to attack these bunkers and eventually take them over. The bunkers will have a certain amount of towers that will shoot cannons at you. When you knock them down you then have to bored your ship to the bunker and find the commanding officer and kill him. Once he is dead you then own the bunker. There are two benefits to owning the bunkers. One is that it allows you to see all the treasure in that section of the sea and also your bunker will attack other ships for you. So when you come back you will see a lot of supplies floating around that you can pick up. This game is worth every penny in my opinion, and as you think you can beat it in a day...think again. Try a week!

The story of Conner Kenway is a fairly decent story. Conner left his home to become a pirate and get rich as he becomes a ship wrecked pirate that got stranded on the island with a ship wrecked assassin. Conner then kills the assassin and takes his clothes. He then reads a letter that leads him on his epic journey. Only you can make up what that journey is. I am going to rate this game 9 out of 10! Because it is outstanding in every aspect. I recommend Assassins Creed Black Flag to anyone!
